Where the Founders began

Godric Gryffindor, Helga Hufflepuff, Rowena Ravenclaw, and Salazar Slytherin, four friends, decided to create a sort of boarding school where young witches and wizards could learn to use and control their magic in a place hidden from muggles. So, they created Hogwarts and the houses their students would be in. Gryffindor taking those with courage, Ravenclaw those with intelligence, Slytherin those of pure blood with ambition and cunning, and finally good Hufflepuff taking those who were fair, loyal, and anyone else.A few taught two subjects, though each at least one. Gryffindor taught transfigurations and Defense against the Dark Arts. Hufflepuff taught Herbology and Care of Magical Creatures. Ravenclaw taught Charms and Astronomy. Slytherin was content with teaching only potions.
Hogwarts seemed like a happy place, until the founders began quarreling. The founders also feuded about who was best suited to run the school as headmaster or headmistress. Gryffindor thought he would be bet because of his skills as a duelist and the courage he would show when protecting it. Ravenclaw saw herself fit since she was the most intelligent. Hufflepuff thought that she'd be the most fair, and that that was why she'd be best. And Slytherin wished to be headmaster so that the school could be what he envisioned it, a place for pure bloods.
In secret, deep beneath the castle, there is also construction going on of a great echoing chamber with a large statue of Slytherin himself. The only entrance the the cavern is through a bathroom, though the cavern splits off to enter the pipes that go all over the school. No one knows about the chamber, except for a few Slytherin's who Salazar has chosen to tell, including his own heir.
That is where our story takes place. There is no head master or headmistress at the school, instead the four founders act together. With the opening day rapidly approaching, the founders need to get things all settled out.
(anyone can post first. don't worry about making it look fancy. some neat font, size and color is good enough. please keep in mind we all need plenty of stuff to work off of. try to do five sentences minimum, no maximum.)

Helga Hufflepuff

The grand opening was just around the corner. Helga couldn't be more excited, just thinking about all the students she would have to teach. The other house founders had already decided the qualities they wanted for students in their house. Helga on the other hand just wasn't sure. She liked loyalty, honesty, being fair and those who worked hard. When she thought about it, wasn't that how everyone was around here? Maybe it was best that she took who ever was left.
Helga usually took what was left anyway. Everyone claimed a good spot for a common room except for her. She looked on the bright side of it, though. Since she loved food, and cooking charms, it was probably the best that her house common room was right next to the kitchen. It was tucked away behind barrels to no one would be able to find it.
There were foot steps down the hall where Helga was. They sounded like the clicking of Rowena's shoes. Or maybe it was Godric strolling around. She was hoping it would be her dear friend Rowena. She and her had been good friends for a very long time. She could always go to her if she was in need of assistance. "Hello? Who else is joining me through the halls?" she called, sweeping some of her red hair from her face.

Godric was strolling through the halls deep in thought, as he so often was. He was always busy thinking about adventures and glory and often problems or theories with no answer. He liked to imagine he was off on some great adventure, mabye hunting and capturing dragons, or chasing dark wizards around the world. More ofthen than that he liked to think about what can only be described as philosophy, because it was too deep to have any real answer. It wasn't that he was incredibly smart, he just had a huge desire to learn and to acheive a sort of glory for what he has done.
Desire, is probably not the way to describe this, as Godric was often seen talking to himself. Desire for glory turned to lust for it. But right now he had a little more to think about than his adventures, students would be pouring in to Hogwarts soon and he was freaking out. He knew the qualities of the students he wanted, but was not sure how to know for certain they would have the desire to be great like himself. One thing he did know was that he needed to get up to his common room and quick to make sure everything was in order before the students were sent up. He was devising a way to make sure only his students could enter his common room as it was not hidden like the others. Now was his chance to see if it works."
